Escalate in writing
If a phone conversation has not resolved something, put it in writing with your order ID, the date and what was said. A written record is what makes a second conversation shorter than the first.
Use your card issuer as a last resort
A chargeback is a genuine protection and it exists for problems that were not resolved. Filing one before anyone has been given the chance to help tends to freeze the order record and slow everything down.
Nothing in this section limits any right you have under consumer protection law, and nothing in it requires you to exhaust these steps before exercising one.
